1. Purpose of our Content Policy
Mobiles24 is a community-driven platform dedicated to preserving and sharing mobile content across generations — including ringtones, wallpapers, games, apps, themes and more. This Content Policy outlines the types of content permitted on our platform and ensures Mobiles24 remains a respectful, legal and enjoyable space for everyone.
2. Allowed Content
We welcome original or legally licensed content for a wide range of devices including Java phones, Symbian, Android, and iPhone. Accepted content includes:
- Mobile Java games and apps (.jar, .jad)
- Android APKs (freeware, open-source, or authorized)
- Ringtones (original, licensed, or user-created that do not violate copyright)
- Wallpapers
- Video Wallpapers
- Themes and legacy mobile content
3. Prohibited Content
We do not allow:
- Unauthorized copyrighted music (e.g. commercial MP3s without proper rights)
- Cracked or pirated software/games
- Malicious or harmful files (e.g. viruses, trojans)
- Explicit, adult, or obscene content
- Harassing, hateful, or violent material
- Fake, misleading, or impersonated content
- Deepfakes or misleading AI-generated media, especially if used to impersonate others or spread misinformation
4. User Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that anything you upload complies with this policy and applicable laws. By uploading, you confirm that you own or have the right to share the content.
5. Reporting and Moderation
If you find content that you believe violates this policy, please use the "Report This" button or contact us directly. We review all reports promptly and take action where necessary.
6. Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove content at any time, without notice, if it violates our Terms of Service, or applicable laws. Repeat violations will lead to permanent account suspension.
7. Appeals and Counter Notices
If your content has been removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may contact us to appeal the decision. Please include as much detail as possible, including why you believe your content complies with our policy.
If your content was removed due to a copyright complaint (DMCA takedown), and you believe the takedown was in error or that you have the legal right to use the content, you may file a counter-notice in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
To submit a valid counter-notice, please provide:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your area and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
We may forward your counter-notice to the original claimant. If they do not take legal action within 10 business days, we may restore the content at our discretion.
