Sail the Caribbean in this turn-based strategy/role-playing game. Will you be peaceful trader, traveling from island to island with goods trying to exploit circumstances of high supply and demand? Or will you be a rapacious pirate, waging war on sea and on land against the enemies of your country. You decide!

Note 1:
A brief comment to you guys claiming that Pirates and Traders is a clone of other games on the Android market. Here is a simple fact: Pirates and Traders was published in April 2010. Please check your facts before making claims that are so obviously rubbish.

Note 2:
If the Move and Search buttons disappear, it is because you have entered the Globe view. Use the BACK button to exit ports (the GUI will be updated soon to reduce the confusion caused by this).

Recent changes:

- Fixed a force close bug when entering port without a governor
- Removed debug code (players should not start with a large frigate) :-)

- Players can now take loans from friendly governors
- Port attack algorithms have been tweaked
- App2sd settings restored
- Game should no longer force close when visiting the governor after conquests
- Game should now reset correctly (returning to the title screen) if the Android OS kills it while you are switched out of the game
