Minx® is the brand name for a patented solid nail coating that was invented in 2007. Minx Nail coatings are available in graphics, designs and metallic finishes, and can be applied to natural or artificial nails through a process using heat and pressure. Minx nails have become the must have fashion accessory which has taken the world by storm! Minx is a solid nail coating that comes in hundreds of designs, requires no drying time and gives you the freedom to do what you want without worrying about chipping or smudging.

There are hundreds of designs available from plain colours to animal prints. Seasonal designs are also available such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas.

Minx is applied using heat and pressure. An infrared lamp gently warms the Minx and your nail which then allows for a perfect mold and adhesion.

Be aware of having your nails near a heat source such as in hot water or closed toe shoes which cause your feet to become very hot. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves when doing dishes. Heat and friction together may cause Minx to become loose.

Minx is also removed using heat and pressure. You can do this yourself with the use of a heat source such as hot water or a hairdryer for a couple of seconds on a low setting. This will loosen the adhesive and the Minx can be peeled off. Be careful not to have the heat source too hot.

Minx will not damage your nails if removed correctly. It is also highly recommended to use cuticle oil such as Solar Oil twice daily to keep your cuticles and nails hydrated.
