How to add the widget to your home screen:

Devices with Android 4.0 or newer:
Go in to your applications menu and find the Widgets tab at the top of the screen. Find the widget and tap and hold. You should be taken to a home screen. Drop the widget wherever you want.

Devices with Android 2.x or 3.x:
Long press (touch and hold your finger down) on any open spot on one of your Home screen pages. This will bring up a list of options.
Touch Widgets from the list of choices.
Scroll through your list of installed widgets and select the widget.
