Description
Simply open the app, and your position is shown with animated live radar that can last up to two hours. Weather and environmental data layers are becoming increasingly accessible on MyRadar, which you can overlay on top of the map. The ability to receive warnings based on Tropical Storm and Hurricane activity is a new function added in this edition. The app will give you a warning up to an hour ahead of time, down to the minute, on when rain will arrive at your current location, with information on intensity and length.
Weather and environmental data from MyRadar are displayed on our in-house built custom mapping system. Hurricane monitoring in real time is now available, which is perfect for the start of hurricane season. The specialist radar kit, which allows for more detail of radar from individual stations, is also included in premium upgrades.
