Towelroot is powerful one-click rooting utility that makes rooting simple. No technical knowledge is required, just install and root!
Towelroot has been fully tested and works with the following devices:
∙ AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5
∙ Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5
∙ Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
∙ Google Nexus 5
Also works with almost every Android phone with a kernel build date before Jun 3 2014.
Towelroot does not currently support HTC & Motorola phones, or any phone without a writable system.
Does it trip KNOX?
Most probably not. My phone says "KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0", but no promises.
Will this brick my phone?
Towelroot hasn't bricked a phone yet.

How do I install towelroot?
To install this app on your Android or Huawei using Chrome for Android:
- Select Download Latest Version button above to download the APK file
- After download has completed, tap Open
- The following message may appear: "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source"
- Tap SETTINGS
- Tap the toggle switch to allow from this source
- Tap <-- or the back button
- Tap INSTALL
Downloading using a different browser?
- Select Download Latest Version button above to download the APK file
- Open the Files app or your preferred file manager
- Select Towelroot-617977.apk
- Tap INSTALL
