Description
This is an add-on to the Textra SMS application that utilizes the latest Android styled emojis.
Provides all the (Unicode 8) latest 1600+ emojis for KitKat, Lollipop & Marshmallow phones.
Supports diversity (skin tones) for Lollipop & Marshmallow phones.
For phones (e.g. Samsung) that have manufacturer styled emoji, you can now choose to use this Android style emoji if you prefer.
You access the Textra Android emoji using the + icon to the left of the message field in the conversation. Long hold on a 'human skin emoji' (for example a hand gesture) to see diversity (skin tone color) options.
IMPORTANT: These Android emoji are only available in Textra and not system wide (e.g. keyboard app). Only a firmware upgrade can give you full system wide Android emojis. So for now Textra is the only way to get 1600+ emoji with diversity.

How do I install Textra Emoji - Android Style?
To install this app on your Android or Huawei using Chrome for Android:
- Select Download Latest Version button above to download the APK file
- After download has completed, tap Open
- The following message may appear: "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source"
- Tap SETTINGS
- Tap the toggle switch to allow from this source
- Tap <-- or the back button
- Tap INSTALL
Downloading using a different browser?
- Select Download Latest Version button above to download the APK file
- Open the Files app or your preferred file manager
- Select Textra_Emoji_-_Android_Style-618452.apk
- Tap INSTALL
