"It was a cold New England morning when I received the letter. It was from Annabelle Jackson, Tommy’s widow. I served with Tommy during the war and he was a heck of a guy, by the end I even considered him a friend. Tommy had written home about me before he died, and now his widow Annabelle needed my help. She had family living at a place called Wentsire Manor, located on a small island off the coast of Brunswick, Maine. They used to be in frequent contact but over the past few months their letters had become unusual and infrequent, and lately stopped completely."

Fresh back from the horrors of World War 2, Jack Baxton was working as a private investigator. Not hugely successful, but it paid the bills. Mostly. But when the wife of his old squad mate needed his help nothing could have prepared him for the bizarre and uncanny events that were about to unfold.

Horror in the Darkness is an exploration and puzzle solving adventure game, where players need to investigate and put together clues and solve puzzles to uncover the secrets of Wentsire Manor.
